如果不是因为国内利益集团太贪婪，以及有太多把柄捏在盎格鲁-撒克逊人手中的话，这次我国本来可以配合欧俄把美国打下霸主地位的。
先不说经济，仅仅解除西藏、新疆威胁的好处，我就支持让美国衰退。当年美国利用自由化思潮煽动苏联各加盟共和国反意，支持藏独东突，30年河东30年河西，现在美国南部受到同样威胁。一旦帝国衰退，这个反噬之力不但可以消耗美国国力，而且会动摇美国价值观，一如当年的苏联现在的中国
在美国将产业转移的2年内，本质是美国求俺们。用七伤拳法打美国，他们比我们更怕疼。而2012年后，美国将会掌握更多的主动
俺从来没相信美国政客，在美国交出台湾前，一切都是免谈

家园 China is not in your hand it is not a democracy. You and I have 0 saying in the formation of G2,因为对中国得不偿失。So do not waste your time. Even Hu Jingtao can not reverse the formation of G2.
Given China's social structure, G2 is already a QUITE favorable outcome. China is not much different from Argentina. If China were located in Latin America, rather than in Asia, it would have been Argentina No. 2 by now.

--what you see is the amplified minority. The "silent majority" in any Chinese society are hard-working, family-oriented, traditional-valued middle-class people.
But they have already tasted democracy and individual freedom. Their gov. is more responsive to average Joes than that in China. For any Taiwanese middle-class families, they will care more about THEIR DAILY BENEFITS more than an empty word of unification.
To be frank, if i were Taiwanese, I will also not want to unify with today's China. Sanlu milk powder, dead pupils in Sichuan, all the coalmine scandals... An abusive gov. without constraint by rule of law (not rule by law) and human right protection is never welcome by me.

等土鳖国GDP全球第一了，就可以设立专门委员会，来关心美洲原住民的人权问题，认为美洲原住民具有不可剥夺的独立建国的权力了。借口永远会有的，但是实力不够的话，有借口也用不上。
现在还是埋头发展经济，到拉美去，到非洲去，和第三世界国家的兄弟们共同开发资源，发展经济才是目前我们该干的事情。等欧元区的企业尸横遍野了，我们出来趁低吸纳，多好。

家园 Chinese elites I believe they understand themselves perfectly; and they won't chanllenge the Saxons in the near future. They are among the most careful people in the world, partly due to Chinese culture and partly due to China's current weakness. The only thing I worry about them is that they could be too careful to let chances go, and chances don't grow on trees.
