A couple of years ago, my Malaysian co-worker opened a bottle of shrimp paste in front of me. I guessed the liquid was pressurized in the container. The paste got sprayed all over my body. It was a nightmare.
However, I like his traditional Malaysian dishes. He is Chinese as well.
