He will attend Harvard University. He is an International Brain Bee Champion, an Intel Science Talent Search Finalist, a Siemens Competition Semi-finalist, a USA Physics Olympiad Semi-finalist, a USA Biology Olympiad Semi-finalist, a National Merit Finalist, and the regional winner of the Physics Bowl. He was Co-President of Science Olympiad and Biology Club. He was also Vice President of Physics Club. He conducts Neuroscience research at the University of Michigan. He was also Captain of both the Varsity Cross Country and Varsity Track teams for two years, where he ran in National competitions.

Photography Program, and in Cranbrook Summer Art Institute Painting Classes. His artwork has been exhibited in the Birmingham Student Our Town Art Exhibition and the Michigan Young at Art Exhibit. Furthermore, he took part in the International Academy’s 2006 Language Immersion Trip to Spain and in the same year was accepted into the Telluride Association Summer Program. Throughout his junior and senior year, he volunteered as a member of his subdivision’s Neighborhood Association as well as in the organization of many school events, such as sophomore career day. His main passions are languages, anthropology and cultural studies, art, and horticulture. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and German, and can read most Romance languages as well as some Dutch.
