Important Account Notice Re: Metals Trading

We wanted to make you aware of some upcoming changes to FOREX.com’s product

offering. As a result of the Dodd-Frank Act enacted by US Congress, a new

regulation prohibiting US residents from trading over the counter precious

metals, including gold and silver, will go into effect on Friday, July 15,

2011.

In conjunction with this new regulation, FOREX.com must discontinue metals

trading for US residents on Friday, July 15, 2011 at the close of trading at

5pm ET. As a result, all open metals positions must be closed by July 15,

2011 at 5pm ET.

根据的是Dodd-Frank Reform and Consumer Protection Act ，这个是奥巴马在10年7月签署的联邦法。

我查了下，没有提到金银，贵金属。

1：不是禁止个人买卖金银

2：只针对贵金属期货交易

3：个人依然可以买卖标准贵金属合约

4：个人不能买卖非标准场外贵金属期货合约

5：目的是减少风险，因为标准合约的清算是有交易所担保的，场外非标准合约的清算的风险完全依赖交易双方的交割清偿能力。
