主题：有点晕：周小川建议保尔森接受财长提名 -- 酱油群众
中美关系可以说是世界上最复杂的双边关系之一，“朋友乎？”“对手乎？”这个问题，估计，双方都说不清楚！
从美国前财长保尔森的新书《崩溃边缘》中可见一斑：
2006年春天，布什决定换掉财政部的掌门人，他听从前国务卿贝克和幕僚长博尔顿等人的建议，决定提名保尔森。但保尔森颇为犹豫，因为当时许多人都说，为什么放着好好的高盛董事长不当，去做一个支持率不高的政府的财政部长。
这里面还有他母亲的因素——保尔森的母亲对布什政策持批评态度。在这一系列影响下，保尔森一度通知白宫方面，他不会接受这一提名。
当时正值胡锦涛访美，作为高盛集团董事长的保尔森也被邀请参加白宫的欢迎宴会。他回忆说，随同胡锦涛主席出访的周小川和他联系，希望两人能在宴会前，在白宫附近的国际货币基金组织会面。
于是，他们两人“走到一个房间，没有其他人旁听，也没有人记录”。
周小川对保尔森说：“我认为，你应该成为(美国)财长。”
保尔森回答，他不会接受这个职位，但他对周小川了解的情况颇感惊奇。
周小川随后说，如果保尔森放弃这个职位，他自己会后悔的。
为说服他，周小川现身说法：“我是一个投身政府工作的人。你是一个有爱国心的人，我认为(凭你的能力)你在这个世界可以成就很多东西。”
其后，保尔森又经过反复考虑和对自己职权的讨价还价，于2006年7月10日正式宣誓就任美国财政部长，开始了他生命中最忙碌、也是最富有争议的两年半光阴。
很难想像，中国的央行行长会在美国财长任命过程中扮演过如此微妙的角色，看过这一小段故事后再回看中美关系，确实让人有点晕了！
因为中国目前仍在实施对外开放、招商引资的基本国策。美国的大资产阶级从中国广阔的市场和廉价的生产基地中获利丰厚。
有时候会想起阿西莫夫《基地》系列《市长》那一集里面哈丁市长讲的那个马和人的寓言。
“The horse, joyful and relieved, thanked the man, and said: ‘Now that our enemy is dead, remove your bridle and saddle and restore my freedom.’
“Whereupon the man laughed loudly and replied, ‘Never!’ and applied the spurs with a will.”
Silence still. The shadow that was Wienis did not stir.

Wienis sprang to his feet and in the shadows, his eyes were maddened hollows. His voice was thick, incoherent. “And yet I’ll get you. You won’t escape. You’ll rot. Let them blow us up. Let them blow everything up. You’ll rot! I’ll get you!
到最后究竟谁会是被装上马鞍和缰绳的那个，谁会是骑在马背上的那个？
有些担心，高盛在希腊的一幕会再中国重演，当然不一定是债务危机，而可能是其他方面的利益输送。
