俺家领导喜欢这种法式坐椅。Ethan Allen的要七八百一把。太贵。可巧在一家店里看到意大利的便宜货，就是因为袍子不大好看，所以才贱卖了。
俺家领导命令俺买回家，然后给椅子换件漂亮的袍子，于是俺的悲惨命运就开始了 
这是没换前的旧袍子：
这是换了一半的椅子 --- 袍子都换好了，但装饰带还没粘完。而且领导现在又觉得那个装饰带不太好看了 
来张正面儿的。。。注意靠背处那一溜钉子。。。
羡慕中。
那loveseat好像与环境不够配合。
那种椅子一共买了四把 (他那里只有四把，后来就再没上过货)。俺已经换好两把，第三把，就是照片中那把红色条纹的，也快换好了。第一张照片里那把黄绿色的椅子，是唯一还没换过袍子的。
俺这里贴的，不是同一把椅子。

嗯，男人应该在这方面巧手一点，这样才是个会过日子的人呢。

We need a fireplace shield, yet haven't found one. There're some really decent stuffs in the market place, but they're expensive (150 bucks), and we don't want to spend that much on it. Therefore we just put a painting down there to cover the dark and ugly part.

Thanks, but... honestly, it might be something in between French Traditional and French Formal (or French Palace, if you will). The authentic French Formal is characterized by lots of highly polished furnitures and excessively elaborated details, and all these would cost way more money than we could afford. Moreover, that would be really really formal, which I kinda try to shy away from...
JQ MM:
The first chair took me about 5 hours to pull out all the 350+ nails, and another 6 hours to finish the re-upholstry.
Yet the second took me only 6 hours in total. The third, less than 6.
There's really a learning curve out there, hehe.
