家园 你误把蒯因当石里克和卡尔那普的时候，我就知道你的斤两了 关于分析命题和综合命题的学术争论虽然咱不太关注了，不过现在也没有结束。不过自蒯因的《两个教条》之后，英美学界就几乎没人做逻辑实证主义的信徒了。连基本的学派对立点都搞错，不懂不要装懂，更不要搞人身攻击，没读懂就是没读懂，不丢人。
家园 居然这么多人送花？ 西学有毛病，所以就把它彻底放弃得了。可是西学的好处就是它可以把它想说清楚的问题给尽量说清楚，至少是框架上清晰，虽然犄角旮旯里有漏洞，但是总归瑕不掩瑜，好处是让人不糊涂。一，河友没人说“彻底放弃”吧？只是认为其基础很成问题，因此没必要太当回事；
二，犄角旮旯里有漏洞？物理学家就是这么说牛顿3定律的。结果犄角旮旯出了量子力学和相对论。
三，让人不糊涂？“红色水晶球”这种简单的可能不糊涂。稍微复杂一点的：西学解释一下“学”这个概念？有不糊涂的解释吗？

家园 "上帝"粒子的称呼其实很不妥 假使Higgs boson确定无疑的存在着,它也只是使,在现有理解之下,我们所有可见的物质的获得了质量,而这只占全宇宙的4%,还有96%是未知的“暗物质”。做为无神论者的Higgs是非常不满科普作者Lederman这样的称呼，其实大部分物理学家都觉得这称呼很不靠谱。我们来看Lederman自己的辩解，
Lederman said he gave the Higgs boson the nickname "The God Particle" because the particle is "so central to the state of physics today, so crucial to our final understanding of the structure of matter, yet so elusive,"but jokingly added that a second reason was because "the publisher wouldn't let us call it the Goddamn Particle, though that might be a more appropriate title, given its villainous nature and the expense it is causing."所以无论这次LHC所发现的新的boson是怎么，其实都只是我们通往理解自然更深层次规律的过渡点，远远谈不上是神一般的粒子。

家园 其实也就是基于“原子论”的物质结构理论的存废问题 原子本身的应有之义位不可分的最小微粒。当前科学体系中的原子实际上不是原子论最终要追求的那个原子。
不过依我看，西学嘛（也包括数理化等）本质上就是挖了一个坑又造了一个新坑。要是某些问题能最终解决其实就是怪事了。
质料、物质这些东西如果进行了太多的理论纠缠最后就变成空无了。我觉着在现代物理学中也会遭遇同样的命运。
我现在是对任何寻求“最终”解决的理论方案都深表怀疑，只求能以不同的理论框架来看问题就足矣。
