家园 Gordon Brown 露出真面目了 家园 老郭上次去中国就跟北京讲了 他不会出席开幕式。 这次是西拉里把他卖了， 公开说他因为人权问题拒绝出席开幕式， 弄得他左右为难， 承认否认都不好。
我的感觉老郭比布莱尔滑头， 做事暧昧。 他上任已经去过两次中国， 这次在首相府外跟火炬say了hello，但是没碰它。 闭幕式他出席理所当然， 因为伦敦是下一届奥运会的承办国。
奥运和政治分开是对的， 来不来咱们坦然处之， 心里有本帐就行了。 感觉这次从政府层次来讲， 英国比法德好多了。 最让国人憎恶的就是法国。 国外的邻居也不会趁人家孩子过生日party的时候交涉什么花园的花啊草啊该修剪了等等， 那叫成心恶心人， 绝对要打击。 如果国人心齐的话， 应该抵制一下法货。 杀鸡给猴看， 做做样子也是要的。
家园 PM not attending Olympics openin Gordon Brown will not attend the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics, Downing Street has confirmed.However, the prime minister will attend the closing ceremony.
A spokeswoman said it was not a change of plan, Mr Brown had never planned to attend the ceremony and had made it clear he was not boycotting the Games.
Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg said Mr Brown "seems to do the right thing late in the day when he is forced to do so because of public opinion".
