2005 Prius. Current miles: 36K
Condition: 70-75 degree, no wind, sunny

Tips: use cruise control at 55 MPH
家园 明年的GOlf TDI 据说会达到这个水平，这样的话 Prius的优点好像就不明显了，同样水平价格贵好多。而且柴油车的维护支出明显好于汽油以及混合动力。
家园 That's a good news. If VW can That's a good news. If VW can improve it reliability,Golf/Jetta TDI may get some market share.
I also considered TDI before I bought the Prius. But VW's reliability record is kind of poor and over the trend of the company in N. America is worrisome.
Plus most Jetta and Golf in US market are made in Mexico.
家园 墨西哥产的质量好像是不太好 我这边澳洲市场的Golf和Jetta的价格上好像就这样，Golf的原产地是南非，Jetta是墨西哥。照理说同样配置的jetta应该略贵于Golf，但实际上价格一样，销量的话Jetta是远远低于Golf了。

家园 原先就听说Prius省油省到变态程度，看来果不其然 老大，另外请教一下，你的Prius开起来手感如何？加速性能、off-road性能大概能达到四驱SUV的多少？安全性如何？有没有什么冲撞试验的视频，拿来共享一下！呵呵。
我一直没机会试试Prius，所以很没有概念，既然已经准备着三十五岁后搞辆环保车来开开了，现在就想多多了解。望步校兄不吝赐教。

It is very smooth and quiet. When it is run by electric engine, it makes less noise than a golf cart.

It has 76 hp gas engine and 67 hp eclectic motor. The total 133 hp is enough for a 2900 pounds car, The electric motor has 295 lb.-ft. torque, which is better than most car.
Sure, you don't expect you can zip-zap on the highway, but it is enough for passing on the interstate.

The sheet metal is very thin (like other Toyota), so you should expect it will absorb energy :)
