of course U.S. has refundable tax credits. You do not have to teach me on the U.S. tax since I am paying both U.S. taxes and Canadian taxes. It is also shocking to me when I prepare my first Canadian income tax return several years ago.

My point is that Canadian tax system is designed to help out poor people-- much favorable to low income people than the U.S. federal code. This favorable treatment is obvious in both Canadian federal code and Canadian provincial code.

There are still many loopholes in today's Canadian tax laws. Similar loopholes in the American system were covered long time ago.
