The thing is, this little diva part is so minor compared to the whole extravaganza, it's rather hard to phantom NBC would specifically demand a lip-sync stunt. After all, it makes little difference to NBC's demo. Besides, having a preference or input is one thing, but running the entire show is going out a limb here.
