听说源里面有～～～请指教一下
如果synaptic里有，可以直接安装，把所有源都打开看看。没有可以去外链出处下载，不想自己编译的话，有Debian的安装包。主要也就是依赖TK/Tcl8.4。
当然可以喽。
一般用partition magic（分区魔术师）等软件在你现有的硬盘上分出一个空间，大小在4G以上（经验）给ubuntu。剩下的步骤和安装win/linux双系统没什么区别，ubuntu自带的grub会自动识别出已有系统。
shell好像要手动。
反正我装完了之后，进入GNOME就什么都有了。
特别需要指出的是，安装过程中就把USB harddisk、Centrino给认出来了，特别是后者，我曾经在FC4下装了2天都没有成功，可是这么轻而易举让Ubuntu给认出来了真实让人震惊啊！

这个链接我当然知道，可能老大没有仔细看，deb版安装不是只提供了一个文件，而是有层层依赖，每个文件都需要单独下载和安装，烦死我了，所以才上来请教的。
人家FC的RPM虽然名声不太好，对OCAML倒是一个包就解决问题啊，郁闷。。。
其实我觉得knoppix的硬件识别功能还更强。
不知到你装的是否是dapper 6.06，我的源如下，可以用synaptic搜索到ocaml：

Debian的apt容易让人变懒，但是如果理解了它的哲学，会发现一切其实都是合理的。比如你需要的ocaml，如果自己编译，只需要几个命令：
sudo apt-get install build-essential
安装基本编译包
sudo apt-get build-dep ocaml
会告诉你ocaml详细的依赖关系，你需要做的只是下载。
接下来就是看源码包里的具体安装步骤，无非就是./configure、make、make install等。其实比rpm满世界的找库文件简单太多了。
下载安装就应该可以了
