我收到一封信，来自Massachusetts州交通管理部门，通知我的驾照要被吊销。原因是在IOWA州我曾经吃到过超速罚单。
但是当时我并没被吊销驾照，而且我按时交了罚款。几个月后，IOWA州寄信给我，说吊销我在IOWA的驾照及车牌直道08年1月19日。
但是我没有IOWA州的驾照及车牌。所以我打电话去问，IOWA州答复我既然你没有IOWA州的驾照及车牌，你就不用管这个处罚了；不过，在08年1月19日之前最好不要开车来IOWA；而且你在美国其他州开车不会受影响。
可是现在，来自Massachusetts州的交通管理部门却告诉我他们接到了IOWA的通知，他们也将吊销我的驾照。
谁有这方面经验，请告诉我怎么办？我还得找工作，需要车。多谢！！！！！
RMV（Massachusetts州交通管理部门）来信如下：
You are hereby notified that I intend to revoke your License/privilege to operate a motor vehicle in the state of Massachusetts on 12/13/07 because of the official notice of suspension/revocation received by me from another state or country as listed below:

The revocation of your License privilege will become effective on 12/13/07 without further notice. This action is being taken pursuant to Chapter 90, Section 22lc). In order to avoid this revocation, you will need to do the following before the above mentioned revocation date:
1. Contact the above named state or county’s Motor Vehicle Department;
2. Obtain a letter of Clearance and/or Reinstatement, dated not more than 30 days;
3. Obtain a Driving Record from same, also dated not more than 30 days;
4. lf you have been convicted of operating While under the Influence of Alcohol and/or Drugs or Vehicular Homicide, you will be required to obtain and submit, to this motor Vehicle department, court abstract(s) .
5. File this documentation with the nearest full service Registry branch office prior to the noted revocation date.
Note: lf your license/right to operate becomes suspended as a result o f failing to comply with this notice, at the time of your reinstatement you will be required to pay $100 reinstatement fee. Make check payable to RMV.
我曾经去续驾照，被告知４年前在另一州犯过事儿不能续，然后给我一个case#. 打电话到那个州，告诉他们case#,被告知交若干美金，一周左右他们的系统里就清除了可以续驾照了。
看来你也要先给iowa打电话问清楚，可能要交钱了事了。
