家园 【原创】有趣的美国车牌 如果你在美国生活过，你或许曾注意过来往车辆的车牌上那些短句。（我指的不是车主们自己贴上去的那些，而是车牌上原有的。）
那些可是州政府规定的，大多是本州的别名（外号），有的甚至是通过立法规定的别名。如Keystone State（Pennsylvania），Constitution State（Connecticut），Volunteer State（Tennessee），Garden State（New Jersey），The Centennial State（Colorado）。。。
有的却是口号或“广告”。如It's That Friendly（Kentucky），Like No Place on Earth（Wyoming），Great Faces, Great Places（South Dakota），Sounds Good to Me（Tennessee），Oklahoma Is OK!（Oklahoma），Live Free or Die!（New Hampshire）
。。。还有的是州政府的网址
我在这儿列一些车牌文字让大家猜猜

家园 猜一个，给一个 America's Dairyland是威斯康星州。实际上，也没有觉得牛奶牛肉便宜。不过路边倒是会出现一个大牌子，上面写着“奶酪工厂”，甚是自豪的说。
另外有人告诉我这个州有15，000个湖，比号称万湖之州的明尼苏达还多，也不知道是真是假。
看到过一个州的车牌写着“Lincoln's Home”还是“ Lincoln's State”，记不清楚了，大家猜一猜吧。
