guys, do you prefer OGG or mp3?
on my M8, I think the CPU % is similar between ogg 500k and mp3 245k.and it sounds better too, only just 2* the size.
what do you think?

    download APE or FLAC, and convert to ogg q9, play ogg on my M8 only,
    on my HDD, more or less, I will rm all mp3 later, only keep lossless format.

  First of all, you must confirm your phone and earphone is good enough to show the difference between these two format of music files. Then, are you sure that you can feel these little gap about sound quality? 320K mp3 is high enough for most of people.However, I think better the music is, shorter the battery is.

    I am using Meizu M8 phone, and it's orignal earbuds and a PX100 headset.I can recognize the difference between 245k mp3 and the APE/q=7 OGG, and I found the q=9 ogg is identical with ape(from my ears), and it's like half of the size.
    so, for good resource like ape, I shall convert to q9 and play on my M8. on PC, I would still use APE.

      your headphone and phone can not show you the difference between flac and mp3 cbr 320k.
      you'd better run a double-blind test before you convert the music.
