家园 日本还不够法国的分量 先花再回，用英国来预示我们未来的路是对我们的贬低，日本无论如何都不够法国的分量，我们只能是下一个美国，而想以英国的路来为我们指引方向的人更像是和平时期的绥靖主义，美国现在不会复制历史上英国的做法，我们也没必要
家园 将来的事情, 谁知道呢 10亿人的国家, 每年有10万, 100万, 还是1000万人进行国际交往, 对国民意识的塑造程度完全不一样. 也许要等到这个数量达到一亿的时候, 才有可能完全避免偏见和陋见, 即使在完全民选体制下也不会选出不靠谱的领袖/支持不靠谱的政策. 但那一天太遥远了.
家园 读得很认真，谢谢。 葡萄牙、荷兰、英国、美国这些国家在大国崛起进程中，有类似之处，属于海洋商业民族。美国的地缘政治环境跟英国最为类似，而且更加优越。
西班牙、法国、德国、俄国也是如此，属于大陆军事强权。中国似乎可以归结在这个模式下，但又有自身的独特之处，毕竟历史悠久领土辽阔人口众多。
但中国人的文化性格确实跟法国人类似，辜鸿铭讲过，只有法国人跟中国人一样，具有一种品行，那就是“灵敏”。

家园 法国人花了太多的时间去学习修辞术 搞得人人都能说会道，社会宠爱那些文人作家，全民族思维文学化艺术化，这跟古代中国有的一比，跟北方的日耳曼诸民族的崇尚科学与商业的风俗大异其趣。
托克维尔在《旧制度与大革命》中就指出过这一点，连农夫都会使用那些巴黎文人作家时髦的政治语言，法兰西不搞文化大革命真是对不起上帝啊。

俺不是只听中国好的一面，拒绝和排斥不好的一面，俺觉得这个问题比较大，这样不能简单的去比较。
比如东方的集权主义成因，内涵与法国这样的集权主义成因，内涵是否一样？对民族心理的影响是否有异等等。。
至于地缘政治，中国历史上的屏藩政策，以中华儒家文化为纽带，以中国为中心辐射与控制周边国家，西边的戈壁高原，北方的草原荒漠，东边与南边的大海的地理环境与法国四战之地的比较等等。。。。
家园 东方的集权主义成因 and French dirgist dirgiste: both are agricultural nations deep at heart, with a large piece of flat land suitable for agriculture.
Both came into modern border/language at much earlier stage than their neighbors around them. Both cultures mature earlier than their neighbors. Both nations highly respect poets, artists and look down upon bankers, merchants... (not same today in China and not the same between Northern Chinese and Southern Chinese. but still the same problem in France now).
Both have symmetrical royal palaces. Both nations' capitals are the political and commercial centers.
Both nations look at America as unsophisticated uncultured bastards and both nationals deep in their heart believe that their cultures should be the global standards and other people should follow and look up to...(Chinese has this kind of pride until the Opium Wars, which completely smashed this sense of pride. But this sense is coming back now back in today's China).
The list will go on... I am sure Monsieur Li can give you more facts on the French history.
I write English because the system does not support chinese input. Also my Chinese input speed is extremely slow. It is easier for me to express myself in English now.
