I think my problem may be my aspiration for the sense of achievement and

needs for recognition. (But aren't they the fourth need of human being, according to Ma Si Lo?)

You are right:

However, in addition to ideal, attitude and characteristics, there is another thing called "responsibility" - to home, to country, and to the world. Which makes me feel best may not be the best for others. How to resolve the conflicts?

In addition, I am also puzzled by some other problems as below, and would feel

highly appreciated if some hints or instructions could be given by CCHERE friends.

In CCHERE, we discuss about history, phylosophy, politics, however, what could

we do to change current situation of China? It is easy to criticize, and hard

to make applicable suggestions and really do something to change the real

world.

How many of us are thinking of going back China to make contribution? We feel

painful and sad for many phenomena, but will we sacrify our current living

conditions and well-paid job to fight for democratic system in China? The

conflicts lie between reality and ideal, individual and country / world.

(Bribery / corruptions of government officiers, crisis on education system,

medical system, pension system, farmer problem... What could we do to make it

better? We have abundant human resource and physical resources, and we are

still invaded by foreign countries - economics and politics. So painful experience!)
