I was in the university in China late 80's, sharing a dorm with six other fellas. Most of us play guitar and one of our routines was that every Saturday night, everyone laid in the bed with lights shutdown, and listen to a radio program about classical guitar hosted by professor Chen Zhi, that's pretty much the only chance for us to listen to records of some master pieces done by Francisco Tárrega and Mario Yepes, etc.

The melody flows in the dark room, sometime you almost felt the music become visible and colorful, and get into your mind through both your ears and eyes, those moments left some of the best memories in my life.

Occasionally, professor Chen will let one of his students, a 10-year little girl play some tunes, and then commented on the playing. Her name is Yang Xuefei.

The only thing we knew about her was her music which everyone enjoyed very much back then. Fast forward to 30 years later, I decided to pick up guitar again lately.

Thanks to google and the AI which led me to this video, all of a sudden all those memories resurfaced, through watery eyes I found that Xuefei has become such a fine woman and play such beautiful and mellow music, I'm deeply deeply touched by the power of life.
