This conversation is very interesting. The host, Ms Regan, has intelligently phrased her questions and expected to get answers agreeing with her assumptions regarding the trade issues. The guest, Ms Liu, has done an excellent job in responding to the questions, despite of poor satellite connection, showing her grasp of the issues and her knowledge on the facts as a journalist. To every question, Ms Liu has an answer with fair analysis and logic. It is too bad the dialogue was ended too quickly giving the impression that Ms Regan does not want to continue for being afraid of giving Ms Liu too good a time. Indeed, Ms Liu was a little tight but became more relaxed as she dealt with the questions. If they would offer a real debate, I for one would be willing to pay a broadway show ticket price to hear it. This 19 minutes talks was too much like a teaser!
