in a way, "大数据" (originated from physics, 分子运动模拟, 冲刺热力学极限/cooling/结晶, etc, monte carlo simulation) is already 偷大脑, It 偷大脑 of anonymous "mass" population.
but we need something much more powerful and 精确 than that.

now, let's first check around, before we plan our 偷大脑 business.
引力 is there, almost as perfect as GR calculates, but we don't know how 引力 is transmitted, in terms of 引力波观测.
another similar "信息"力 type of huge $$$ implications is 德布罗意相位波, in what kind of "介质" 德布罗意相位波 transmits (yes, we got some "超光速" issues with it) we don't know, then we use 色散关系 type of tricks to get around it;
now, human brain 波 is kind of like "4(or N)偶極子"波 such as 引力波, very weak to 观测 and model, but we do know 脑力 is there, but again, how to "量子化" 脑力, kind of like how to "量子化"引力?
Frank Wilczek's QCD's 夸克 model is basically 规范场+ "大数据" , and he got nobel prize for it, although "individual 夸克 " is still escaping physics, as of today, but 夸克 theory is bullet proof, works very well.

what is point?
theoretically, borrowing Frank Wilczek's methodology of "规范场"+ "大数据", we can try to figure out a model for 脑夸克.
with "脑夸克" model, and as long as it works although we may never be able to 观测 our "脑夸克" baby, we can still use it, and we will 山寨 Uncle TG before 1949, , find a 山 of huge crowds, then we manage crowds' brains/"脑夸克", and declare ourselves (one at time, 轮流做庄, 5常委) as 山头大王, or 山主席 of 山人民共和国.
is this "山 dream" a total 科幻(:)?
