2. Tesla has EV before 2008, but not very successful until 2012: volume problem, tech problem.

3. EV are rolled out to average consumers in large quantity, esp., in Southern California, a huge market for car companies.

4. *Musk and his WS friends are manipulating TSLA stock prices. They are very smart: you shall notice that they have popped up stock prices two times, ALWAYS just BEFORE two major convertible bond offerings.

Those bonds have maturity longer than 5 years (5-7 years). Those stupid bondholders offer huge cash inflow with close to zero return--effectively like equity financing. Therefore, Musk can use those money to fund LARGE CAPITAL EXPENDITURE.

5. Do not focus on accounting earnings, focus on operating cash flow. TSLA has a big turnaround recently since its quarterly operating cash flow turned positive. That's a big plus for this young firm.

Musk has no cash flow headache at least for 4 more years. He is a master manipulator.
