One thing i want to know:
It seems FreeBSD or Gentoo Linux is the most difficult distros to install manually. But from the second link you give here (Linus From Scratch), it seems LFS is a more challenging one.
Can you compare LFS and FreeBSD/Gentoo?
Btw, can FreeBSD be installed in PC?
