金蝶和用友真的是笑话, not their fault

金蝶和用友 are framed based on small and medium-sized enterprises because they lacked consulting access or experience with large scale manufacturing firms.

SAP benefits from its solid German base: most of its earlier clients were large manufacturing clients in Germany. Germany became a great learning place during its early birth: its business processes are based on the best practices learned from various large German conglomerates: in all kinds of industries.

BTW, SAP founders also benefitted from their earlier experience at IBM Deustcheland. IBM did not want to commit resources to accounting softwares (too small market for IBM)--this created opportunities for SAP founders.

金蝶和用友 are more like PeachTree or Microsoft Accounting in US: it is designed based on a small scale and not suitable for large firms.

In terms of framework superiority, even Oracle is no match of SAP.

Chinese 金蝶和用友 suffered from LATE MOVER disadvantage. Domestic China market is also very bad for its early birth.
