nobody looks up to losers.

First-generation Chinese need to show that they are financially stronger and intellectual smarter to earn respect. No Jewish kids look down upon their parents because they know their parents are winner in this land called America. Nobody dare to look down upon winners. At least in Silicon Valley where those ABC's parents are often option-based millionaire, I heard much fewer stories where ABCs dare to look down upon their successful parents.

ABCs need to understand that they are nobody without the free college eduction offered by their parents : they have no capital to look down upon anybody except themselves if they are losers in this competitive world called America.
