U. of Waterloo has excellent CS engineering program and its graduates are extremely popular at Microsoft (Northwestern US), Silicon Valley and some Southern California company (such as Broadcom).

Queen's undergraduate business education is quite good too, esp., in accounting.

On average, Canadian universities can not beat US schools because they are all public universities and the whole school is like a big bureaucratic gov. agency.

Best US schools are private universities, that's where you get the brightest faculty/students and most innovative breakthrough. At private school, my students only ask for more coverage and knowledge. In public universities, I had to water down requirements to meet their demand.
