今天长女回家，带回来一张纸。是小学生每天在教室向国旗宣誓的誓言：

Pledge of Allegiance

I pledge allegiance to the flag

of the united States of America,

and to the republic

for which it stands,

one Nation under God,

indivisible,

with liberty and justice for all.

下面有老师祝贺她会说这个誓言的话。她回来就背，然后就和妹妹一起捂着胸口唱起美国国歌了，此起彼伏，好不热闹。其实，从上学前班起，老师就已经开始灌输了。
