by the way, I just called my pal, a repair guy. he said that it is fine to leave it if the light goes off . you know, the car will get information from all the sensors, if one of these guys failed, it will trigger the light. in your case, after the technician deleted the code, your car will not read from whatsoever but just simply bring back the default data. it may be cause you a bit more gasoline, but you will not notice it when you are driving on the way.
