Just curious why all Chinese parents buy piano for the kids...it is expensive, and the kid won't touch it in a few years.

My dad bought one for my little brother a few years ago and now the piano is just there to collect dust.

When I was about 7 years old, my parents also asked me to learn that thing. That was not a real piano, just a Yamaha electric piano keyboard. I learned that for about 1.5 years and I know how much kids hate it. Finally I managed to break it with a glass of water and got rid of that annoying musical instrument!
