1. Router is locked to your old cable operator. If so, try to download new firmware from router's support.

2. WAN setting. Some xDSL providers use PPPoE, other use static/dynamic IP address. Find out what it is in the documents given by AT&T. Find out if your modem acting as bridge. If modem acts as bridge, you have to change the WAN setting for your router. In case of static IP address, you might have to change WAN setting in the router too.

3. Mac address, clone it if needed.
