我觉得“天演论”也不错。进化这个词好像是日本传进来的？

I guess 愛因斯坦 would think sr as too perfect (no gravity?), a free particle plain wave, no interaction with 馬赫's world for ever?
then in a more realistic (reality,not sr) and impect world, there is no perfect global gauge

虽然您用英文回我也能猜出大概，但确实有点影响理解。我的英文水平是借助字典能阅读专业文献。但是非常窄的专业范围。

两个解释都有一个关键词 development
再查 development 的意思
the gradual growth of something so that it becomes more advanced, stronger, etc
可见不是翻译不靠谱，而是 wiki 不靠谱。
毕竟计算机这个行业，所有的俚语都是从英文拿过来的，汉语里面几乎没什么可以直接对应的词汇。
反过来说是不是在汉语里面造几个让人不容易忘文生意的字或者词更好？
越南文字是彻底地罗马拼音化了，没有可能再夹杂汉字了。
不过日文朝鲜文韩文和越南文的去汉字拼音化都避免不了同音字的困扰。
日本将来的语言改革是一个很有趣的观察点。
要刻意避免汉字的望文生义恐怕太难了，而且望文生义固然有不利一面，但也有有利一面，我觉得不用刻意避免。确实应该精心确定翻译用字，减少产生错误联想的机会，如进化不如翻成演化更合理一类，但本质上还是要建立准确理解，准确定义的习惯，这是长期的功夫。很难一蹴而就。
原生词的确精确的多，不过这种搞法很容易被骂成装13。哈哈
准确地说我的意思是如果用汉字造一个毫无联想的新词则不如用原词，但这样会带来其他问题，增加记忆量，不利普及等。而且我觉得如果下功夫造出传神的新词功德无量，如演化，如化学元素字，如化学用的甲乙丙丁、伯仲叔季等。
汉语的词和英语的word实际上差异很大：
1. 很多汉字实际上等同于word。
2. 很多汉语词语实际上是短语，因此不能等同于word,比如公鸡，母鸡，小鸡，烧鸡，烤鸡等，这样在词基本不需要学习，而说英语词汇量的时候通常只包含少部分由构词法生成的词。
