it's probably bc you understand them not in their own good, but in their Chinese translation and in chinese culture context.
and then you think them as plain and unattractive
words in movie title should let people wonder what they gonna get, as "Matrix"; yet
words in menu should make people feel clear and assured of what they gonna get, as "pork ball"
