再查一下，这家“Anglo-Persian Company”，就是现在BP的前身，见这里：https://www.britannica.com/topic/BP-PLC
所以北纬说的“P代表的是波斯”是对的，错的是最早的时候应该叫AP，不叫BP，虽然是同一家公司。
而科威特石油公司，是这家AP跟雪佛兰1934年合资成立，他们在1938年发现了石油，官网没说是不是求助于美孚，我猜应该不用吧，毕竟这家合资公司本来就可以做勘探，要是我猜，历史的真相可能是英国工程师认为找不到，美国的工程师说可以试一下，不一定有什么政治动机。
此外，我猜，这个合资公司是酋长请过来的，正常讲，三方应该会谈好价钱，最后在1975年顺利国有化，没有发生革命事件。
