Wal Mart started from Arkansas, people in the south (aka rednecks) love Walt Mart, big enough reason to be looked down upon by blue state people. What is southern culture? more common sense, less hypocrisy, (everyday low price! no fair-trade coffee stuff), less polished, don't care what other people think of themselves. (Many bad traits as well, anti-science, guns, abortion, racism, etc )

More importantly, Wal Mart shows a lot of courage in fighting back unions, easily making it public enemy number-one for the left.

One fight at a time, with Wal Mart as comparison, Target looks so much better than it actually is, just like the comparison between China and India in the western world.
