Last time when I visited Halifax museum, I noticed that the Scotish governer was quite negative towards German immigrants two hundred years ago.
But I agree that Germans are culturally much closer to Anglos than Frenchmen.
Many Germans are not protestant Christians. WASPs do not include Germans.
