日本号称“八百万神”，言日本神之众多，而且隐隐是有自豪感的。
前面那位所谓的“拜神，肯定是拜最大的那个”，就是典型的一神教思维。抱粗腿，而且肯定得抱最粗的腿。于是必须为上帝的粗腿而战，以保证那是条最粗的腿。George Carlin对此有形象的描述：

Hindus, Muslims, Jews, Christians, all taking turns killing each other because God told them it was a good idea.
