美国打打杀杀--while in the post-WWII world, what it did is to establish a new global free trade and currency exchange system. This system helps to create the prosperity for the 1945-2006.
When you have multiple equal size players who do not trust each other, such as Iran, China, Russia..., I am not sure whether free trade can still be easily maintained.
One or two parties will face strong incentives to resort to military actions to solve some actually economic problems.
It is very hard for 20 different nations to reach consensus on building a new global financial system.
