Post-empire era is not as colorful as you imagine. If US power is completely withdrawn from the middle-east, Iran might change from China's strong partner into a potential regional competitor. Russia can also lean toward competitor rather than a cooperator.
China is far from taking over the whole Asia as well as the middle-east threshold now. Good luck if you believe that you can single-handedly handle the Islam fundamentalism problem.
