that my children do not need to be the same as other children. However, I don't agree that an ABC's confusion about his/her identity is related to his/her parents' self-esteem.

I don't have children yet. But I wish my future children could understand that their parents love Chinese culture, their parents love China, and why their parents care about China. I wish my future children could identify themselves as both American and Chinese. I wish they could correctly understand their racial identity and appreciate it.
