at work now, couldn't type chinese.

I told my LD what happend as she wants to know, and it's better for me to tell her other than she hears it some time from others and then gets upset as she asked me already but I did not tell her.

Do you expect a happy ever after life once you decide to settle down? if so, it may be a good idea to finalise sth then you can go ahead without any worries. Of course, you need to say your history out in a smart way, do not be rude to any one you loved, but also do not hurt the one you will stay with for the rest of your life.
