It sentenced him 'to be reduced to the rank of private, to be confined for a period of fifteen (15) years, to be dishonorably discharged from the US naval service, and to suffer all the other accessories of said sentence as prescribed by Section 322, Naval Courts and Boards.

如果按照强奸案来看，这样的判决应该是可以视为公诉人胜利的。现在的中国法律强奸也就是3年左右的刑罚。
