I am not so sure about the standard in Yale but back in Cal, if someone made a mistake as big as comparing Chinese Government Income with the US Federal Income only and tried to pass them as the same, that would be a failing grade in any level of class assignments and an Academic scandal if it is a published paper. Is it the practice in Yale where people can just brushed something like this aside as a small mistake. Whatever happened to academic integrity?
