It's a japanese temple.

You are right, it's not Chinese Temple! It's a copy of the Phoenix Hall of Byodo-In in Kyoto, Japan. The original Phoenix Hall had been built in Heian period with strong Chinese influence.

This one is located on O'ahu Island of Hawaii, in the Valley of the Temples, which mostly is a cemetery.
