I heard the following from my friend. Not sure if it is really the case..

On the day of going to court, you can find out if the policeman shows up or not. If he shows up, you leave and do not show up. You can do this 2 times (not showing up). The policeman may get impatient and not show up at the 3rd time, because he cannot spend too much his time on a small case like this. Then you are off the hook in that case....
